●Scope of Claim

Shaping the plate made of a synthetic resin that covers the upper side of a ski at the binding attachment point into 10~20mm. Also, almost all of the surface area of the top binging point and the heel binding point are shaped into zigzag.

●Industrial applicability

A ski plate which absorb the vibration and which reduces the vertical deflection of a ski.

●Effect of the Invention

The zigzag part of a plate fits into the deflection of a ski. Also, the height of the plate makes it easier to hold on edge and absorbs the vibration when skiing.

Reinforcement plates are placed on the upper and lower side of the core material with sidewalls on both sides in the sandwich structure. The shell covers up the core from upper side. At the binding attachment point, it reaches up nearly to the bottom edge. At the shoulder and the heel, it doesn’t have much thickness, and in the middle of between binding attachment point, the shoulder, and the heel, it has about the half of thickness compared to the previous one.

●Effect of the Invention

By raising the side of the shells at the binding attachment point, it builds more strength on foot. It allows edging effect, torsion, and proper rebounding. Also, it brings more flexibility on the shoulder and the heel.
